Viral: Restaurant in Japan serves hyper-realistic “Sukuna’s Finger” in its ramen
A ramen shop in the Shibuya district has gone viral on social media after introducing a limited-edition ingredient to its menu: an edible and disturbingly realistic “Ryomen Sukuna’s Finger.” Images of the dish have flooded Twitter, generating a mixture of fascination and revulsion among diners.

Unlike the official candy or gummy snacks released previously, this version is made from pork meatballs and processed cartilage, with a fingernail made from pickled bamboo and colored to mimic the necrotic and cursed appearance of the object from Jujutsu Kaisen. The level of detail in the wrinkles and the “waxy” texture of the skin has made many hesitate before taking the first bite.

“It feels like you’re committing a sin by eating it. It tastes delicious, but visually it’s hard to process,” commented a Japanese user in a post that has already surpassed 50,000 likes. Although it is not an official collaboration with the publisher Shueisha, the dish takes advantage of the franchise’s ongoing hype, attracting hundreds of tourists and otakus willing to “become vessels” for the King of Curses.
Themed cuisine in Japan always walks the fine line between kawaii and grotesque. This “finger” is proof that the bodily horror of Jujutsu Kaisen has transcended into the mainstream. Would you dare to try it, or would disgust get the better of you?
